Men’s TaylorMade SIM2 driver
The TaylorMade SIM2 driver comes in 8-degree, 9-degree, and 10.5-degree versions for right-handers and 9.0 and 10.5-degree versions for left-handers.
The club head is 460 cc, the club length is 45.75″, the lie angle is 56-60 degrees, and the swing weight is D5.
The shaft options available are as follows:
- For the 8-degree RH version, it’s the Fujikura Ventus Blue 5 graphite shaft, R flex;
- For the 9-degree version, it’s the Mitsubishi Diamana DF50 graphite shaft, S flex;
- For the 10.5-degree RH version, it’s the Mitsubishi Diamana DF60 graphite shaft, S flex*;
- For the 10.5-degree LH version, it’s the Fujikura Tensei AV 75 Raw white graphite shaft, S flex.
[*If the Mitsubishi Diamana shaft is chosen there are extra charges as this is a more expensive shaft.]

The TaylorMade SIM2 Max driver comes in 9-degree, 10.5-degree, and 12-degree versions for right-handers and a 9-degree and 10.5-degree version for left-handers.
The club head is 460 cc, the club length is 45.75″, the lie angle is 56-60 degrees, and the swing weight is D4.
The shaft options available are as follows:
- For the 9-degree RH version, there is a choice of Fujikura Airspeed 45 graphite and Project X HZRDUS Smoke Green 60 graphite. The shaft flex is 6.0/S.
- For the 10.5-degree RH version, it’s the Fujikura Motore X F1 70 graphite, X flex
- For the 10.5-degree LH version, it’s the Fujikura Ventus Blue 6 with Velocore graphite.
Men’s TaylorMade SIM2 Max D driver
The TaylorMade SIM2 Max D driver is currently for sale in 10.5-degree left-hand and 12-degree right-hand models.
The club head is 460 cc, the club length is 45.75″, the lie angle is 56-60 degrees, and the swing weight is D4.
The shaft options available are as follows:
- For the 10.5-degree LH version, it’s the Mitsubishi Diamana DF70 graphite, X flex*.
- For the 12-degree RH version, it’s the Mitsubishi Kuro Kage 5th Generation Silver 60 graphite, R flex.

Ladies’ TaylorMade SIM2 driver
For ladies, the TaylorMade SIM2 driver comes in 10.5-degree and 12-degree right-handed versions.

The only shaft option currently available at Fairway Golf USA for this model is as follows:
- For the 12-degree RH ladies’ driver, it’s the Aldila Ladies NV 45 graphite, L flex. This is a high launch, high spin shaft, and 5.9 torque.
This driver comes with a Lamkin Ladies Sonar grip, 0.58″ round, grey/white, soft feel.
